Responsibilities

• Teaching of residents, medical students, and/or fellows
• Development of research credentials and scholarships
• Participation in educational seminars
• Development of an individual training experience in research skills and teaching
• Opportunity to develop an independent career in an academic setting

Requirements

• Expertise in Pediatric Diagnostic Radiology
• M.D. or equivalent degree
• Evidence of additional professional training such as receipt or pursuit of an NIH K Award or other Career Development Awards from foundations
• Training in basic science research related to a specific area
• Demonstrated research focus in a specific area with a desire to start an independent career
• Development of expertise in teaching, administration, clinical research

Qualifications

• Ability to teach and mentor residents, medical students, and fellows
• Strong research background in Pediatric Diagnostic Radiology
• Experience in basic science research related to Pediatric Diagnostic Radiology
• Desire to pursue an independent academic career
• Ability to develop teaching and administrative skills
• Interest in clinical activities related to research
