About the role
The School of Art at Ball State University invites applications for part-time instructors to teach a variety of art history courses, including AHS 101 Art in a Globalized World: Art History before 1500 CE, AHS 102 Art in a Globalized World: Art History after 1500 CE, and upper-level courses in the candidate’s area of expertise.
Responsibilities
- Teach between 1 and 3 undergraduate art history courses.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in art history or a related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment.
- One semester of teaching experience at the college level.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in art history or a related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment.
- One year of teaching experience at the college level.
