Essential Job Functions

• Teaches eight (8) courses or activity equivalents in organic chemistry, general chemistry, and other upper-level chemistry courses per year in various formats as necessary (on-campus days, on-campus evenings, off-campus, online, etc.).
• Participates in curriculum and/or program development, as assigned.
• Be accessible to students, according to College guidelines; maintains regular office hours for student advising and consultation.
• Conducts scholarship/research activities.
• Serves and contributes to appropriate college and university committees.
• Provides community service and participates in university, college and departmental functions that contribute to campus life, such as athletic events, orientations, receptions, commencements, etc.
• Attends meetings as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Job Requirements

• Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in the use of computer hardware and curriculum related software.
• Required Education: Master Degree Major (if Required)
• Required Experience: Preferred Qualifications Experience or interest in developing online courses. College-level teaching experience.
