Essential Job Functions
- Teaches eight (8) courses or activity equivalents in organic chemistry, general chemistry, and other upper-level chemistry courses per year in various formats as necessary (on-campus days, on-campus evenings, off-campus, online, etc.).
- Participates in curriculum and/or program development, as assigned.
- Be accessible to students, according to College guidelines; maintains regular office hours for student advising and consultation.
- Conducts scholarship/research activities.
- Serves and contributes to appropriate college and university committees.
- Provides community service and participates in university, college and departmental functions that contribute to campus life, such as athletic events, orientations, receptions, commencements, etc.
- Attends meetings as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Job Requirements
- Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in the use of computer hardware and curriculum related software.
- Required Education: Master Degree Major (if Required)
- Required Experience: Preferred Qualifications Experience or interest in developing online courses. College-level teaching experience.
