Job Description

TSTC faculty deliver approved curriculum, content, and assessments in an applied learning environment. Responsibilities include facilitation of activities and discussions that engage a range of learning styles with targeted guidance and mentorship to students. Faculty will also interpret and administer assessments, and offer constructive feedback to support student growth and learning outcomes. A key part of the role is to integrate technology effectively to enrich the educational experiences. Faculty act as ambassadors for their programs and TSTC.

Salary Range

The final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Salary Range: $68,400 - $88,000

Required Skills, Knowledge, And Certifications

• In-depth knowledge and technical aptitude in the Biomedical/HTM field of expertise
• An excellent communicator and exceptional organizational and time management skills
• A knowledge of curriculum development to align with industry standards
• The ability to perform performance assurance (PA) inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP)
• The ability to repair, install, and calibrate complex and intricate biomedical equipment
• The ability to work with, direct, and document the activities of subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery
• The ability to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database to include the inventory, performance assurance (PA) schedules, nomenclature, and service history
• The ability to adhere to the Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP), including all regulatory agency compliances and other applicable policies and procedures
• The ability to complete written clinical performance evaluation forms in a timely manner of students
• The ability to participate in professional development activities
• The ability to participate in recruiting and promotional activities
• The ability to follow established TSTC policies and procedures
• The ability to maintain competency with use of technology that supports learning and teaching
• The ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including availability for evening, weekend, or summer assignments
