Instructor - Biology

St. Norbert College (SNC) is a nationally ranked private Catholic liberal arts institution seeking candidates specializing in exercise physiology, kinesiology, or related fields. This is a one-year (2026-2027), non-tenure track position with the possibility of renewal, on-site with regular campus attendance required.

About the Role

The successful candidate will teach at least 2 courses per semester, each with both lecture and weekly lab components. Courses may include:

• Anatomy & Physiology
• Biomechanics
• Exercise Physiology
• Medical Terminology
• Introductory Biology
• Other courses based on program needs and candidate’s expertise

Candidates with experience in exercise science are especially encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• A Ph.D., ABD, or Master’s degree in Biology or a closely related field is required at the time of appointment.
• Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching within a liberal arts setting.
• Experience teaching college-level biology courses as the instructor of record is preferred.
