About the role
The USF Health College of Nursing is one of 14 colleges at the University of South Florida and one of four that make up USF Health. Responsibilities
- Teaching may occur across USF’s three campuses: Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota-Manatee.
- Contribute to curriculum development, service, and scholarly activities appropriate to the rank of Instructor I.
- In-person presence during standard business hours is required.
- Remote work option is not available for this position.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties.
- Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Instructor.
- Minimum of two years of direct patient care clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Nursing (DNP or PhD).
- Minimum of three years of classroom and clinical teaching experience.
- A broad range of clinical knowledge and expertise in various settings or specialty areas.
- Local, state, or national leadership in a nursing professional organization.
- Strong communication and technology skills, and experience in curriculum design and evaluation of program outcomes.
