As an instructional designer, you know that even the best tools and processes can’t have impact without the right training. Constructing an interactive course that teaches critical tradecraft requires a real passion for understanding the needs of your customer. We have an opportunity for an instructional designer who is committed to solving some of the toughest challenges by crafting effective training.
Responsibilities
- Work with SMEs and product designers to capture your customer’s training needs and advise them on the right learning solution to help them accomplish their mission.
- Design training material and performance support tools, building training material with curriculum developers and SMEs following the ADDIE model.
- Use your technical skills, creativity, and experience to come up with new ideas to develop an engaging, interactive learning experience on screen or in a classroom.
- Recommend cutting-edge multimedia technologies and strategies, including blended learning to build a successful learning environment.
- Meet with SMEs throughout the process to discuss learning material and incorporate feedback.
- Collect and analyze results using evaluation methodologies such as the Kirkpatrick Model, then fine tune your training for maximum impact.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with learning theory and instructional technologies
- 1+ years of experience with DOD or IC Experience
- Experience with eLearning technologies
- Experience in Authoring Instructional Materials, Learning Objectives, and knowledge or performance tests
- Experience with conducting computer-based training, including building curriculum and reference materials
- Experience with integrating training into Learning Management Systems
- Experience facilitating or instructing material
- Experience with competency frameworks
Qualifications
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
Skills
- Deep understanding of training methodologies

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
This position is available full-time and part-time, with at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis.
