Responsibilities
- Execute the complete training development life-cycle for diverse training types
- Conduct detailed needs assessments including gap and root-cause analyses
- Develop innovative instructional strategies that meet learning objectives
- Create, execute, and evaluate training courses and performance support tools
- Perform quality assurance activities including SME and design reviews
- Identify and mitigate risks in project plans and schedules
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
- Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience in Instructional Design or Master's degree with 10 years of experience
- Expertise in identifying performance gaps and conducting training needs assessments
- Proficient in designing and documenting instructional plans based on empirical data
- Experience with both traditional and innovative learning strategies (e-learning, blended learning, etc.)
- Strong project management skills in training development and execution
- Software knowledge relevant to instructional design is necessary
