Responsibilities

  • Execute the complete training development life-cycle for diverse training types
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments including gap and root-cause analyses
  • Develop innovative instructional strategies that meet learning objectives
  • Create, execute, and evaluate training courses and performance support tools
  • Perform quality assurance activities including SME and design reviews
  • Identify and mitigate risks in project plans and schedules

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience in Instructional Design or Master's degree with 10 years of experience
  • Expertise in identifying performance gaps and conducting training needs assessments
  • Proficient in designing and documenting instructional plans based on empirical data
  • Experience with both traditional and innovative learning strategies (e-learning, blended learning, etc.)
  • Strong project management skills in training development and execution
  • Software knowledge relevant to instructional design is necessary
