Responsibilities

• Support teacher’s direction by providing assistance with academic, social, and behavioral needs of assigned clients.
• Assist in the implementation of basic educational programming and perform duties as directed by the building administrator or classroom teacher, inclusive of individual tutoring or one-on-one support for a student with special needs.
• Ensure the health and safety of youth in our Audubon, PA private school.
• Support and reinforce PBIS goals and objectives.
• Support the teacher and administration’s direction while supporting youth and reporting progress daily.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required. Associates Degree or completion of two years of post-secondary education from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience working in a special education or behavioral healthcare setting with students with severe/complex behavioral/emotional issues preferred.

Pay

$17.50 – $19.95/hr (based upon education and experience)

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (52-week year-round position)
