About the Role
Napa Valley Adult Education is hiring Instructional Assistant Support Specialists to work with adult students in the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program from 9/14/2026 to 5/21/2027. This includes classroom support such as setting up and maintaining skills labs as well as support at clinical sites, which takes place offsite. Must have knowledge of CNA duties and scope of practice. Weekly salary hours will fit into the CNA schedule.
Requirements
- Proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test for the Napa Valley Unified School District, or one of the following:
- Current California Teacher Credential
- AA degree or higher
- At least 48 college units
- Passed CBEST (California Basic Education Skills Test)
- Three letters of recommendation (2 personal, 1 from a current or former employer)
Pay
$22.13 - $24.38 per hour (starting salary, dependent on experience)
Schedule
Part-time, 4 hours per day
