About the Role

To provide necessary assistance in developing, implementing, and evaluating the district's Title I, state compensatory education, and program reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Assists District and school sites in Title I program implementation.
  • Assists District and school sites in areas of state and federal categorical program procedures.
  • Assists in planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities related to site Single Plans for Student Achievement (SPSA).
  • Assists with audits and Federal Program Monitoring as required by California Department of Education.
  • Plans collaboratively and delivers professional development in the areas of state and federal programs.
  • Gathers and analyzes data and prepares reports.
  • Assists in establishing and maintaining organized and effective systems.
  • Attends state and federal program training as needed.
  • Develops and works with categorical budgets to include assistance with site planning, budget development, and training.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid California Teaching Credential.
  • Successful experience in classroom teaching.
  • Knowledge of instructional programs and practices that facilitate student achievement.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations for categorical programs.
  • Experience working with State & Federal Programs (e.g., Title I program procedures).

Conditions of Employment

  • Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice.
  • Verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training within six weeks of hire and annually thereafter.
  • Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and a valid California Motor Vehicle operator's license.
  • Must disclose all previous employment at Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) as mandated by AB2534 and SB848.

Pay

$71,526 - $139,798 annually (maximum salary includes educational stipends).
