About the Role
To provide necessary assistance in developing, implementing, and evaluating the district's Title I, state compensatory education, and program reviews.
Responsibilities
- Assists District and school sites in Title I program implementation.
- Assists District and school sites in areas of state and federal categorical program procedures.
- Assists in planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities related to site Single Plans for Student Achievement (SPSA).
- Assists with audits and Federal Program Monitoring as required by California Department of Education.
- Plans collaboratively and delivers professional development in the areas of state and federal programs.
- Gathers and analyzes data and prepares reports.
- Assists in establishing and maintaining organized and effective systems.
- Attends state and federal program training as needed.
- Develops and works with categorical budgets to include assistance with site planning, budget development, and training.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid California Teaching Credential.
- Successful experience in classroom teaching.
- Knowledge of instructional programs and practices that facilitate student achievement.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations for categorical programs.
- Experience working with State & Federal Programs (e.g., Title I program procedures).
Conditions of Employment
- Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice.
- Verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training within six weeks of hire and annually thereafter.
- Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and a valid California Motor Vehicle operator's license.
- Must disclose all previous employment at Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) as mandated by AB2534 and SB848.
Pay
$71,526 - $139,798 annually (maximum salary includes educational stipends).
