Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with instructors on course design and development for online, blended or web-enabled courses using best practices
  • Assist with planning, conducting, and evaluating professional development workshops for instructors
  • Analyze the characteristics of existing and emerging technologies and their potential use
  • Facilitate or develop instructional materials for online, blended or web-enabled courses
  • Assess courses and student feedback to determine if quality guidelines and desired learning outcomes have been met
  • Communicate effectively with instructors using visual, oral and written form
  • Promote effective integration and best practices for using technology in courses
  • Assist facilitation of mid semester feedback review for instructors. Provide best practices as necessary after analyzing the results

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possesses conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within the Educational Support function
  • Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems and/or correct standard routine issues

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $19.25-$26.07 hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
