Major Tasks, Responsibilities, And Key Accountabilities

  • Design and develop learning solutions, including eLearning, instructor-led training, distance learning, blended learning, etc.
  • Collaborate with Learning Strategy Senior Managers and subject matter experts during the analysis phase and throughout the project.
  • Work with standard development tools and software (Articulate Storyline/Rise, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Communicate with project team members and effectively manage projects.
  • Work on creative and innovative ways to develop associates.

Qualifications

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, HR Development, Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, or related field preferred (or equivalent Home Depot experience).
  • Working knowledge of multiple learning modalities including eLearning, instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, mobile, and performance support solutions.
  • Experience with agile learning development or the Successive Approximation Model (SAM).
  • Experience using generative AI and AI-enabled tools to support learning analysis, content development, asset creation, and workflow efficiency.
  • Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn emerging technologies and evolving learning practices.
  • Knowledge of current learning technologies, digital learning trends, and modern content creation practices.
  • Proficiency using modern learning technologies, AI-enabled content development platforms, and digital learning tools (i.e., Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Creative Cloud, Copilot, Gemini, etc.).
  • Experience consulting with business partners and SMEs to identify learning needs and recommend learning solutions.
  • Strong ability to communicate professionally, provide proper context, and tailor messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work independently (e.g., project revisions, solving issues as they arise).
  • Familiarity with learning analytics, learner feedback, and data-driven evaluation methods.
