Instructional Designer

About the role

The Instructional Designer supports the Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR) with the planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training course documents. Responsibilities include developing training project plans, course training task lists, control documents, lesson plans, student guides, and AI-assisted testing materials. The role involves creating measurable learning objectives, analyzing training tasks, and evaluating developed training.

Responsibilities

• Develop Training Project Plans (TPPs)
• Develop Course Training Task List (CTTL)
• Develop Training Course Control Document (TCCD)
• Develop Lesson Plans
• Develop Student Guides
• Design instructional components
• Utilize a variety of training products
• Develop measurable learning objectives
• Create Course Outlines of Instruction
• Evaluate developed training
• Provide user support and training
• Support SharePoint workflows and automation
• Ensure document security and compliance with records management policies

Requirements

• Associates Degree in an Instructional Design, Curriculum & Instruction, or Educational Technology discipline with at least one (1) year of experience
• High School Diploma or GED with at least five (5) years’ experience
• Experience with AI-assisted tools
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience in instruction systems design process
• Security clearance up to the Secret level

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

• Associate Degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum & Instruction, or Educational Technology
