About the role

Review all provided materials related to the PEL Academy (files, emails, meetings, messages, surveys, and summaries)

Synthesize existing inputs into a cohesive learning architecture

Identify overlaps, gaps, and sequencing needs while preserving intended direction

Align outputs with People Experience leadership expectations

This phase is focused on organization and translation of existing work, not duplication of prior discovery efforts.

Responsibilities

Design a structured, level-based PEL Academy learning journey, aligned to:

  • Defined progression levels (e.g., PEL 100 - Onboarding & Fundamentals; PEL 200 - Functional Excellence; PEL 300 - Strategic People Leadership)
  • Core capability areas, including (but not limited to):
    • People leadership fundamentals
    • Talent acquisition and retention
    • Employee development
    • Compliance and risk management
    • Workplace culture and employee relations
    • Navigation of HR tools and resources

Deliverables include:

  • End-to-end learning journey map
  • Curriculum outlines by level
  • Clear learning objectives and outcomes per module
  • Develop learning materials and assets, which may include:
    • Session outlines (virtual or instructor-led)
    • Self-paced learning content
    • Job aids, playbooks, and practical tools

Ensure content is clear, practical, and realistic for the PEL audience

Reuse and elevate existing language, frameworks, and tools

Prepare assets for handoff into learning environments (e.g., HU Online), without performing platform configuration

Facilitate structured review cycles with stakeholders

Incorporate feedback from People Experience leadership and PEL representatives

Deliver finalized, production-ready Academy materials

Lead learning design, synthesis, and content build

Manage workplan, milestones, and deliverables

Ensure alignment to People Experience priorities

Provide access to relevant materials and stakeholders

Review and approve deliverables

Own LMS deployment, implementation, and long-term governance

Qualifications

Strong learning experience design and curriculum development expertise

Background in Human Resources, People Strategy, or Organizational Development

Experience designing role-based or leadership upskilling programs

Ability to operate within an established enterprise strategy
