About the role
The Instructional Designer supports the Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR) with the planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training course documents. This role also involves providing administrative management support.
Responsibilities
- Develop Training Project Plans (TPPs)
- Develop Course Training Task List (CTTL)
- Develop Training Course Control Document (TCCD)
- Develop Lesson Plans
- Develop Student Guides
- Design instructional components
- Utilize a variety of training products
- Develop measurable learning objectives
- Generate CTTLs
- Create Course Outlines of Instruction
- Develop Instructional Media Materials
- Evaluate developed training
- Provide user support and training
- Support SharePoint workflows and automation
- Ensure workflows meet operational and compliance requirements
- Have experience in SharePoint site development, automation, and administration
- Be proficient in Power Automate for workflow automation
- Be experienced in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software (Premiere, After Effects)
Requirements
- Associates Degree in an Instructional Design, Curriculum & Instruction, or Educational Technology discipline with at least one (1) year of experience in an education, training, or curriculum development role
- High School Diploma or GED with at least five (5) years’ experience in a training development or education role
- Experience with AI-assisted tools to support instructional design, content development, data analysis, or curriculum quality assurance
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience using Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel
- Possess, or be able to obtain, a security clearance up to the Secret level
