About the role

BEI Tactical requires the Instructional Designer position for a future anticipated award supporting the CENSECFOR at Virginia Beach, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Read, adhere to, and follow policies and procedures outlined in CENSECFORINST 1540.1, CENSECFORINST 1540.4, and NAVEDTRA 142.
  • Develop training course documentation and products to support new curriculum projects, revisions, and changes.
  • Develop Training Project Plans (TPPs) and Course Training Task Lists (CTTL).
  • Create Course Training Control Documents (TCCD) including Front Matter, Curriculum Outline of Instruction, and Annexes.
  • Develop lesson plans and student guides.
  • Design instructional components and create AI-assisted testing materials.
  • Design qualitative and quantitative performance measures for training assessments.
  • Utilize a variety of training products, including formal curricula, interactive courseware, job aids, and computer-based training (CBT).
  • Evaluate developed training materials.
  • Configure and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, and user permissions.
  • Provide user support and training for SharePoint.
  • Aid in the creation and modification of SharePoint workflows.
  • Ensure proper access controls and document security.
  • Support periodic audits for data governance policies.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Associates Degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum & Instruction, or Educational Technology with at least one year of experience in training development or education.
  • High School Diploma or GED with at least five years’ experience in training development or education.
  • Experience with AI-assisted tools for instructional design, content development, and data analysis.
  • Three years’ experience using Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience in all phases of the instruction systems design process.
  • Security clearance up to the Secret level.
  • Experience in SharePoint site development, automation, and administration.
  • Proficiency in Power Automate for workflow automation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software.
