Instructional Designer - 17359

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct learning needs analyses to identify knowledge and performance gaps.
• Create engaging learning solutions using instructional design best practices.
• Develop interactive eLearning courses using Articulate Rise 360 and Articulate Storyline.
• Design virtual instructor-led training (VILT) materials, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, and supporting documentation.
• Produce job aids, reference guides, and other performance support resources.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to gather content and validate learning objectives.
• Apply adult learning principles and performance-based instructional design methodologies.
• Ensure learning content meets accessibility standards and visual design best practices.
• Utilize AI-assisted content development tools to improve efficiency and content quality where appropriate.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, timelines, and attention to detail.

Required Skills/Education

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, Human Performance Improvement, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of instructional design experience.
• Hands-on experience developing learning content with Articulate Rise 360 and Articulate Storyline.
• Experience conducting needs analyses and designing performance-based learning solutions.
• Demonstrated experience developing: eLearning courses, VILT, job aids, and performance support tools.
• Strong written, verbal, editing, and communication skills.
• Experience partnering effectively with subject matter experts (SMEs) and business stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
