Instructional Coach at Elmhurst

About the role

The Instructional Coach, having both content and instructional expertise, will work as a colleague with classroom teachers to support student learning and teacher practice. The Instructional Coach will focus on individual and group professional learning to expand and refine teachers' understanding of research-based, effective instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, coaching, and support aligned with the goals and identified needs of teachers across all grade levels and content areas served.

Requirements

• Master's degree in education or related field
• Experience teaching in the relevant subject area
• Experience in coaching and professional development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of educational research and best practices

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina Teaching License
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and administrators

• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
