Instructional Assistant - Transitional Kindergarten

Fountain Valley School District is located in central Orange County, California, serving approximately 6,000 TK–8th grade students across seven elementary and three middle schools. About the role

This Instructional Assistant position supports Transitional Kindergarten (TK) classrooms. The role is part-time, 28 hours per week, for 9.6 months per year.

Pay

$21.48 - $26.13 per hour (Range 21, 5 steps). Per the CSEA contract, hiring may be made up to step 3.

Requirements

• Experience and educational requirements are detailed in the Fountain Valley School District Instructional Assistant job description.
• All applicants must attend a written test (date to be determined). Candidates who have already passed the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) test are exempt but must contact Lisa O'Cain at ocainl@fvsd.us to verify scores before the exam date.
• Valid ID (e.g., driver’s license or passport) required for testing.
