About this Position

Instructional Assistant II working with students served in Resource, Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs. Typical duties include running small groups, assisting students in large groups in both Special Day Class settings or General Education, and supporting the teacher's needs. This is a permanent, part-time position at San Juan High School.

Schedule

• Length of Work Year: Secondary Elementary Instructional Assistant - Calendar 18B (9 months/year, 206 days/year, 5 days/week)
• Length of Work Day: 6 hours
• Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:45 AM - 3:15 PM

Pay

$19.51 - $25.69 per hour (CSEA General Unit Salary Schedule)

• B: Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
• C: OFFICIAL transcripts demonstrating the completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units)
• D: Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher)
