Instructional Assistant I / II / II

Qualifications

  • IA II: List on application experience that is relevant to this position.
  • Instructional Assistant II's mild/moderate - working with students served in Resource, Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs.
  • Example of typical duties include running small groups, assisting students in large groups in both Special Day Class settings or General Education and supporting the teacher's needs.

Materials Required/Requirements

  • Non-Title Sites: Must pre-qualify by attaching your High School Diploma or equivalent and one document [A or B] from the following list:
  • [A] Passing score from San Juan Unified School District's Proficiency Exam** - testing date must be April 2005 to current. No other school districts proficiency exam will be accepted. (To request a digital test, please complete the Google Form here: Pre-Employment Test
  • [B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
