Instructional Assistant

About the Role

Under general supervision, an instructional assistant provides support and advances the execution of the classroom teacher’s plan in an elementary or secondary learning environment. The role focuses on guiding and encouraging students to develop and fulfill their academic goals by creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the classroom teacher’s instructional plan.
• Assist in creating a classroom environment that fosters learning and aligns with students' maturity and interests.
