Job Responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher in the instruction of students.
- Actively monitor student learning and assist students when needed.
- Work with small groups or individual students as directed by the teacher.
- Auxiliary in implementing behavior management plans as designed and directed by the CARE Team process.
- Attend special area classes for grades K-3.
Job Requirements
- Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or parish setting preferred.
- Ability to supervise groups of children with patience, consistency, and attentiveness.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependability, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
