Institutional Student Worker - Student Access and Disability

Responsibilities

• Greet students who come to Student Access & Disability Services office and check in student for appointment.
• Aid students, who come to Student Access & Disability Services office, with completing online form to register for or request accommodations.
• Navigate students, who come to Student Access & Disability Services, to other offices on campus.
• Answer phones and make calls.
• Provide general office support at the reception desk.
• Perform other duties as assigned that relate to the job description.

Requirements

• Completed at least one semester of classes (at least 6 semester hours) at ECC
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proficient with technology, including typing, MS Office, and basic computer functions

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and technology
• Familiarity with ECC’s campus and the process for students with disabilities to apply for accommodations, or ability to learn these skills quickly
