Responsibilities

• Facilitating individual and group counseling sessions
• Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to develop comprehensive support plans
• Assessing student needs and developing appropriate intervention strategies
• Participating in regular training and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Experience working with adolescents and/or individuals experiencing mental health issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Pass a background check and criminal history review
• State certification in counseling or social work (if applicable)
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients
