What will you be doing?
- Develop and implement the annual institutional sales strategy, forecasts, and targets for digital content: eBooks, journals, and Open Access.
- Drive international revenue by securing new business and managing renewals for journal subscriptions and eBook collections on the Bristol University Press Digital (BUPD).
- Manage the commercial relationships with third-party eBook suppliers.
- Lead global licensing negotiations and develop and implement open-access models, such as transformative agreements.
- Develop and maintain relationships across universities, other institutions, and consortia.
- Work with colleagues at BUP across editorial and marketing to ensure all potential sales leads, usage data, and OA data can inform sales decisions.
- Provide direct line management to the Institutional Sales Executive and Sales and Customer Administrator.
Requirements
- A strong communicator, negotiator, and presenter with excellent reporting, organizational, and analytical skills.
- A proven track record of delivering revenue growth and working under pressure.
- A strong track record in developing relationships across universities, other institutions, and consortia.

Benefits
The role offers a competitive salary range of £43,482 - £50,253 per annum, a fixed-term contract until 06/08/2027, and a 1.0 FTE/100% time position within the Bristol University Press, Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences.
