Installer Technician

About the role

• Daily routine of building seating structures at professional venues like football and soccer stadiums, baseball fields, tennis courts, golf courses, hockey rinks, and racetracks.
• Full-time position predominantly on the road for 3-4 weeks at a time.
• Work environment is generally outdoors, involving sun and fresh air.
• Travel accommodations and hotel lodging provided by InProduction (two crew members per room).
• Opportunity for growth in construction skills, potentially leading to roles such as Crew Lead, Foreman, or Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Build and breakdown scaffolds, install ladders, walkways, and handrails.
• Assist in the safe and efficient installation/removal of equipment according to project plans and layouts.
• Inspect all scaffold components prior to assembly.
• Clean and prepare construction sites, including removing debris and materials.
• Load and unload equipment and materials from trucks and vehicles.
• Study plans and equipment lists prior to on-site installation.
• Ensure appropriate safety measures are followed, including wearing and using safety equipment.
• Maintain fall protection requirements while erecting/dismantling scaffolds.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment properly at the end of each shift.
• Ensure client satisfaction regarding service quality and finished product within planned time schedules.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred, with a good driving record.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools (drills, saws, hammers, etc.).
• Ability to work at heights.
• Creative problem solver with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team setting.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to read and understand basic safety instructions.
• Capable of working overtime.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Pay

$17–$18 hourly.
