Installer II - Day Shift

We are Splice, the professional services division of One Workplace. We provide FF&E project integration, post-occupancy, and MAC management services acting on behalf of clients, delivering innovative spaces and solutions.

About the role

The Installer II assists in receiving, delivering, and installing furniture at customer sites. As one of the last points of contact in the sales process, this role contributes to providing the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.

Location: South Seattle, WA
Hours: Monday - Friday; Day Shift 6:00 am - 4:00 pm plus overtime

Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly and reassembly of all Steelcase and office systems furniture
• Recommend solutions to improve and redesign the job site or customize to complete the job
• Accurately complete and submit required paperwork, such as timesheets and merchandise returns
• Properly load and pack the truck for deliveries
• Apply knowledge and experience of wall mount applications (whiteboards, lockers)
• Provide backup assistance for all warehouse duties as necessary
• Adhere to Operations procedures, policies, and standards of conduct off-site
• Work closely with the Operations Lead and Lead Installer to coordinate on-site progress and issues
• Assist in teaching new Installers essential job functions
• Perform basic computer troubleshooting

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two or more years of related work experience; installation of commercial office furniture preferred
• Must provide own tool set as defined by OpenSquare
• Must own or have access to a reliable vehicle
• Must be able to drive company vehicles (no CDL required)
• Valid driver’s license in the state of Washington with a good driving record and current auto insurance
• Basic understanding of hand tools (manual and power)
• Ability to meet established deadlines

Pay

Compensation Ranges Per Hour:
Installer II: $22.95 - $26.22
Installer III: $24.84 - $28.39

The base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. Actual total compensation will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
