Installer I
Job Summary
The Electrical Installer I will work out of our Commercial Markets Division. This role is critical to the day-to-day execution of our projects, including but not limited to understanding basic electrical functions, installing and troubleshooting EV charging and lighting components - keeping the jobsite organized and running smoothly. This position requires a high attention to detail and accuracy, as well as very clear and proactive communication skills with internal teammates and safety professionals. All members of our team are expected to work together in a safe, positive, respectful, and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the installation, replacement, or repair of EV charging stations
- Install, replace, or repair lighting fixtures and ballasts
- Perform electrical functions with or without supervision
- Work safely and work well with team
- Cleanliness of work area is always expected on customer sites
- Effectively communicate task completion details regarding daily goals
Qualifications
- 1-2 years or more of commercial and residential electrical experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Adhere to safety policy as well as rules and regulations
- Maintain active driver’s license with a clean record and have reliable transportation to report to various job locations
Work Environment And Physical Requirements
- Able to move or lift 50 lbs. unassisted
- Able to withstand varying temperatures typical in an outdoor environment
- Significant amount of time standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- May require climbing of ladders and/or working from heights
- Requires dexterity for handling materials and operating equipment
- Requires 80% travel to regional projects and to other states, overnight and extended periods of time, based on business needs
- May also involve prolonged periods of driving and being on the road
- Ability to comply with and wear required Protective Personal Equipment (PPE)
