Installer - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Installation and wiring of building control systems.
• Support the installation team for fire and security systems as needed.
• Read and interpret plans and drawings.
• Maintain documented installation standards and practices.
• Lead with a safety‑first mindset each day.
• Support other technicians with system point checks.
• Assist in troubleshooting installations.
• Maintain customer satisfaction to drive company growth.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience and/or education in commercial, residential, or industrial electrical systems.
• Professional presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work with basic hand tools, follow directions, and read/write effectively.
• Capability to work on lifts and ladders.
• Possession of personal hand tools.
• Regular and supervisory probation period required, if applicable.
• Random drug testing required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Successful completion of background check and drug test.

Physical Demands

• Occasional sitting; frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing.
• Constant standing, walking, reaching, and gripping.
• Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Ability to talk and hear.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lb (maximum solo lift) and constant lifting up to 25 lb.
• Material handling: frequent lifting up to 50 lb and constant lifting up to 25 lb, classified as very heavy physical demand.

Work Environment

• Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise levels, and various atmospheric conditions.
• Potential exposure to electrical shock, toxic or caustic chemicals, wet or humid conditions, vibration, and proximity to moving mechanical parts.
• Work in high‑exposure locations.
