Responsibilities
- Layout, wiring, and mounting of custom truck bodies on trucks
- Setting up and operating machines that cut, bend, saw, and punch steel into custom parts needed for body mounting
- Completing mechanics work such as working with hydraulics and mounting PTO (power take-offs) and pumps
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Know basic math to set up and operate machines accurately, measure, and problem solve
- Ability to manually move product and materials up to 50 lbs. through regular heavy physical exertion, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and bending
- Using overhead hoists requires ability to push and pull up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to stand and work on concrete for several hours at a time
- Ability to work in a variety of positions, including kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, turning, and climbing
- Ability to read job specifications to determine material layouts, machine adjustments, complicated instructions, blueprints, and measuring devices
- Ability to perform basic computer data entry
- Basic understanding of hydraulics, PTO, frames, pumps, electrical controls, and wiring
- Able to work in a team environment to identify and determine effective countermeasures
- Attend and participate in required company meetings
- Ability to attain and maintain production efficiencies and quality standards
- Must work in a safe manner, including following safety procedures, wearing personal protection equipment, completing maintenance requests, and communicating hazards to co-workers and management
- Must be a team player that works with other departments or facilities to meet company goals
- Must be detail-oriented, energetic, and goal-driven
Pay
$19.00 to $25.00 per hour (non-exempt, hourly position; paid bi-weekly)
Schedule
Four (4) ten (10) hour days, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be available on your 5th day of the week and/or Saturdays.
Location
On-site – 52182 Ember Road, Lake Crystal, MN 56055
Travel: Very minimal to none
