Installation Technician

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots new CCTV, access control, and security systems accurately and on time following Kastle's procedures and quality control standards.
• Pulling cable, rough in/patch in, bending conduit, terminate.
• Identify any issues regarding timeline or progress and communicate to supervisor.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years’ experience installing: commercial access control, video systems, low voltage and commercial wiring/cabling
• Door hardware, electric and mechanical locking devices
• Knowlege of building codes pertaining to construction and electrical systems
• High School diploma/GED preferred
• Technical/Trade/Vocational school certificate in electronics/electrical is desirable
• Strong electronics knowledge/background (AC/DC theory, series and parallel circuits, open/close loops)
• Able and knowledgeable to use digital volt meters
• Knowledge of IP, Ethernet, and networking protocol and Cat5 technologies preferred
