Responsibilities

• Physical Installation of Data Cabling and Associated Mounting Infrastructure
• Commissioning of Communications and Low Voltage Systems
• Site Walks to Determine Installation Requirements for Customer Proposals
• Recommend Appropriate Equipment and Hardware That Meets Customer Requirements
• Some Regional and/or Overnight Travel and On-Call Hours May Be Required. Per Diem Provided When Traveling.

Requirements

• Basic Electronics Background (a plus)
• Competent Operating Basic Hand and Power Tools
• Able to Lift 50 lbs. and Work in Unusual and Sometimes Difficult Positions (e.g., Climbing Ladders and Scaffolding, Crawl Spaces, High-Reach Lift Equipment, Exposure to Elements)
• Familiarity With Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience Reading Blueprints and/or Logic Diagrams (a plus)
• Data Cabling Experience (CAT 5/6, Coaxial, Fiber, Support Devices, etc.)
• Ongoing OSHA Safety Training and Low Voltage Certifications (a plus)
• Distributed Antenna System (DAS) Installation (a plus)
• Valid Driver’s License
• High School Diploma

• Drug Screenings, Motor Vehicle Record, and Background Checks Part of the Hiring Process
