Responsibilities
- Work effectively with supervisors and peers in the rehabilitation and repair of sewer and storm water lines.
- Operate construction equipment to align, move, and adjust machinery to meet location needs.
- Drive various vehicles (including those requiring a CDL) to transport crews and equipment to work sites.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning up job sites, including lifting, carrying, and pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Review and assist in reviewing entry and work permits, as well as pre and post-installation videos.
- Enter manholes and confined spaces to cut lines for installation.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A Class A or B CDL preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience working in an outdoor construction environment, particularly with CIPP or water/sewer utilities.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel overnight, locally, and regionally (across state lines).
- Pass a drug test and criminal history background check.
- Read, interpret documents, and follow safety rules and instructions.
- Apply common sense to solve problems and understand company products, processes, and safety procedures.
