Tennessee Shade Co is a rapidly growing leader in the outdoor living industry, specializing in innovative motorized patio solutions for Tennessee’s finest homes. The Installation Technician installs motorized screens, awnings, and custom window treatments for luxury residential properties in Nashville, TN. Full‑time position working outdoors year‑round, with a small team on high‑end projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute precise installation of exterior motorized screens, shades, and awnings in luxury residential environments.
• Utilize power tools and measuring instruments to ensure installations meet exacting quality standards.
• Collaborate within a small, motivated 3‑4 person team to complete challenging projects efficiently.
• Provide exceptional service through polite and professional interactions with homeowners and builders on $5M+ properties.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to protect the integrity of high‑end job sites.
• Troubleshoot technical installation challenges on‑site to ensure seamless product operation and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proficiency with power tools, including drills, saws, levels, and advanced measuring tools.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work comfortably on ladders or at heights.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
• Ability to work outdoors year‑round in varying Tennessee weather conditions.
• Commitment to a non‑smoking work environment to maintain a professional image with clients.

Preferred:

• 2+ years of installation experience in screens, specialty construction, or a related field.
• Background in trim carpentry with a strong eye for detail and finish work.

Pay
