Installation Technician

Responsibilities

• Traveling to customer sites to install and configure robotic systems
• Performing system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality
• Providing training and technical support to customers on the operation and maintenance of the robotic systems
• Collaborating with the engineering and support teams to resolve any technical issues encountered during installations
• Documenting installation procedures and creating installation reports
• Aiding in the development of standard operating procedures for installation and maintenance activities
• Assisting with the development of standard operating procedures for installation and maintenance activities
• Managing project timelines and ensuring timely completion of installations

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science, or a related field
• Prior experience in installation and maintenance of complex technical systems
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility to travel extensively, including overnight stays
