Installation Technician
About the Role
As an Installation Technician at OPC Pest Services, you'll help protect homes through services like attic remediation, crawl space encapsulation, gutter protection systems, and other home improvement pest management solutions. This full-time, year-round role in Cincinnati and Southern Ohio offers the chance to build valuable skills, work alongside a great team, and make a visible impact in the communities you serve.

Pay
Competitive hourly pay starting at $19 per hour, based on experience and skill level. Technicians typically earn $40,000 to $52,000 annually with uncapped sales commissions.

Responsibilities
- Install attic remediation systems, crawl space encapsulations, gutter protection systems, and other home service products
- Help restore and protect homes from pest damage and prevent future issues
- Complete service-related documentation accurately
- Work in a variety of environments, including attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and exterior spaces
- Safely operate company vehicles, including larger-capacity box trucks
- Deliver quality workmanship that homeowners can trust
- Play an important role in helping your team exceed customer expectations
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have at least 1 year of general carpentry experience
- Valid driver’s license must be maintained through life of employment
- Must maintain a good driving record
- Able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam, and drug screen
Physical Demands / Working Environment
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
- Constant walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting, climbing on ladders and roofs, reaching overhead, and squeezing with both hands
- Install encapsulation in low-light conditions
- Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
- Able to work in all types of weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, sleet, hail, snow, and ice
- Noise level in work environment is generally loud depending on worksite (e.g., new construction, vacuuming insulation)
