Installation Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install building materials according to company standards and safety procedures.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in all installations.
• Use hand and power tools to complete installations.
• Inspect and troubleshoot any issues with installations.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Complete all paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
• Occasional driving to and from worksites.
• Provide support to the door shop as needed when not assigned to job site installations.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, And Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic carpentry skills (a plus).
• Previous experience in building materials installation (preferred but not required).
• Experience with doors, windows, and decks (required).
• The ability to work in all weather conditions.
• A physical ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds.
• A strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• The ability to accurately read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
