Installation Technician
Position Description
Install/construct, layout, assemble, fabricate, fit, and adjust a variety of fairly complex projects such as RF door assemblies and fairly complex RF enclosures.
Ensure these projects meet construction tolerances following standard assembly methods by performing quality inspections and workmanship which meets company and customer standards as to structure, integrity, and appearance.
Responsible to complete reports such as expense reports, daily status reports, inspection reports, and other reports as required.
Complete work as well as pack and unpack crated manufactured materials at job sites.
Minimum Requirements
- A High School Diploma
- 3-5 years of experience in the trades including construction and carpentry
- Extensive travel is required for this position both domestic and possibly international (85+%)
- Excellent written and oral communications with strong attention to detail
- PC skills and proven knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be able to lift up to 50-75 pounds
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to read drawings
- Be a team player who can also be productive independently
Security Clearance
Security clearance a plus
