About the role
The Installation Technician is responsible for installing and maintaining computer hardware and software systems.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure computers and related peripherals according to customer specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on installed equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support to customers as needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures for safety, quality, and customer service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in computer installation and repair.
- Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, and at least one other major operating system.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel within a 50-mile radius of the office.
- Technical aptitude.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
