Installation Technician

The Role

California Closets of Charleston, SC is seeking an Installation Technician to join our team. This position involves producing and installing custom storage systems in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client satisfaction and provide excellent customer service
• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems
• Utilize provided CAD drawings to install systems properly and efficiently
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity
• Absorb and assist in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order
• Install systems independently or with team members
• Participate in training programs as needed
• Provide high-level customer service for in-home installations
• Maintain safety standards at all times
• Drive to and from customer sites and operate company-provided vehicles safely
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Experience with common hand and power tools
• Trade or vocational school experience desirable
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Maintain a strong work ethic
• Possess reliable transportation to and from our facility
• Acceptable post-offer drug screen
• Able to pass background test
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch

Pay

Hourly Pay range: $17.00 to $26.00
range depends on experience, skill-sets and fit for the position
