Installation Technician

About the role
As an Installation Technician, you’ll work independently at our customers’ homes and businesses, installing the latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services. You’ll meet new people daily, solve problems, and tackle varied tasks—from installing new lines to activating Wi-Fi networks. No two days will be the same.
Responsibilities
- Install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services
- Work independently at customer locations
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Climb ladders (up to 28 ft.) and work in small spaces
- Lift and move equipment up to 60 lbs, including ladders weighing 50-60 lbs
- Identify wire and cable colors
- Be available for overtime, emergency callouts, and holiday work
Requirements
- Valid state driver’s license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Must weigh less than 325 lbs. for ladder safety
- Qualify on pre-employment assessments

Pay
Hourly pay ranges from $20.75 to $35.06, with average starting earnings of $43,160 per year. Individual starting salary may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

- 40 hours per week
- Regular time type
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
