Installation Technician

About the role

Introduce our customers to the world’s most robust network while delivering best-in-class service. Elevate the customer experience by providing seamless installation and activation of high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services.

Responsibilities

• Install the latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services at customer’s homes and businesses.
• Solve problems and help customers connect to what matters most to them.
• Work independently, often in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft.), and perform tasks such as putting in new lines, climbing ladders, and plugging in and activating Wi-Fi networks.
• Meet new people daily and be part of a dynamic team environment.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license.
• Lift and move up to 60 lbs – some equipment weighs 50-60 lbs.
• Weight less than 325 lbs, required for ladder safety.
• Available for overtime, emergency call-outs, and holiday work.
• Identify wire and cable colors.
• Pass a pre-employment assessment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar field preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Earnings range from $17.26 to $31.00 per hour. The average starting salary is $64,480 per year.

Schedule

Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
