Responsibilities
- Organize, manage, and maintain inventory of automatic door materials in the warehouse
- Assemble door packages and prepare materials for installation jobs
- Assist installation teams on-site as needed for support and setup
- Operate company vehicle to deliver parts and materials to various customer locations
- Order and purchase parts and supplies to support installation and service operations
- Execute daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system data in Baan
- Manage location-based inventory tracking
- Collaborate with consignment vendors, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to ensure optimal material availability and accurate reporting
- Identify potential issues with Bills of Material
- Support raw material storage improvements
- Serve as a backup for receiving duties
- Utilize Baan ERP system and Microsoft Office Suite for administrative and inventory tasks
- Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of materials, deliveries, and job support activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and make improvements
- Quality consciousness with a high degree of accuracy
- At least one year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- At least one year of experience in cycle counting process
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Some ERP/Microsoft Office computer experience
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Much of the day will be spent on the manufacturing floor
