About the Role

This is an opportunity for a service-minded professional to work, learn, and grow with a team of dedicated technicians in door automation service. You will install automatic and manual door equipment, storefront framing, miscellaneous break metal coverage, and tie into electrical power as necessary. You will also assist in the installation of revolver doors and oversee component raw material inventories to ensure accuracy and availability.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts and update ERP (Baan) with inventory adjustments
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system and physical inventory
  • Verify and maintain accurate inventory locations and tracking spreadsheets
  • Review exception reports to validate inventory accuracy
  • Receive incoming materials, label, store, and organize inventory within the warehouse
  • Pick, pull, and stage materials for job orders and weekly outbound shipments
  • Maintain organization of consumables, tools, and overall warehouse housekeeping
  • Load, unload, and handle materials including glass deliveries (frequent shipments)
  • Support light fabrication tasks (cutting, drilling, punching) using power tools
  • Assist Installation coordinator/Operations Manager as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and make improvements
  • Able to accurately measure materials using a tape measure
  • Operate in a hands-on, non-office warehouse environment (primarily on the floor)
  • Lift and move materials up to 110+ lbs safely
  • Work independently in a one-person warehouse operation
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safety-conscious workspace
  • Utilize ERP systems and Excel (preferred but not required)
  • Operate a forklift (certification or ability to obtain preferred)

Much of the day will be spent on the warehouse floor.
