Installation & Repair Technician

Duties

• Install, trouble shoot and test various equipment including Cat6 and RG6 to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Perform ongoing maintenance and repairs to prevent issues and resolve operational problems.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a spare parts inventory.
• Document service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure tools and equipment stay in good working condition.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and hazard free.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, G.E.D, or trade school equivalent required.
• Three or more years’ experience in IT preferred.
• Basic Knowledge of networking, electronic and test equipment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Able to work in high spaces, climb ladders, operate mechanical lifts and use a harness.
• Able to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time.
• Able to move in and out of, and work inside confined spaces.
• Must be able to communicate well in English, verbally and in writing.
