Responsibilities

  • Oversight of assigned Installation projects, reporting progress to Project Manager for optimal service and customer satisfaction.
  • Timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction.
  • Determine work sequences and assignments based on priority, equipment quantity, and personnel skill.
  • Communicate with customers and representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff.
  • Coordinate Installation or remodel jobs on-site, supervising Installers and Helpers.
  • May include coordinating materials and estimating labor.
  • Read and comprehend plans and blueprints as necessary for the trade.
  • Perform all job duties of an Installation Technician.
  • Install refrigeration systems in supermarkets, convenience stores, and cold-storage facilities, including rack systems and walk-in case installations.
  • Hands-on experience with soldering copper pipe, installing PVC drainpipe, and fabricating hangers, struts, and supports.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Monitor work areas, inspect tools and equipment, and provide safety oversight.
  • Manage multiple priorities with minimal guidance and direction.

Qualifications

  • Formal Education: High School or ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum Years of Experience: Five years of experience with a High School/GED.
  • EPA 608 Certification preferred but not required.
  • HVAC/R with minimum five years of commercial experience.
  • Valid Driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Physically able to climb ladders, work at high elevations, and lift up to fifty pounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and out of town as required.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and professional skills.
  • Strong customer focus and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions, learn quickly, think rationally, and exercise good judgment.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse team environments.
