Installation and Service Technician

About the role

Deliver best-in-class installation and service for critical security and life safety systems, including large-scale, networked low-voltage security systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and service low-voltage security systems: access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and structured cabling
• Support integrated solutions such as life safety, audio-visual, building automation, and endpoint security
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure systems are delivered on time and to the highest standards
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize systems to meet customer needs
• Represent IK Systems as a trusted partner on-site, building strong customer relationships

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in low-voltage installation and service
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to travel (<25% nationally)
