Job Profile
This position requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise. It involves interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices. The role works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations, and may lead functional teams or projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that project and program objectives are clearly defined for assigned areas of responsibility, and that all necessary preliminary activities (such as defining outcomes, milestones, feasibility studies, and resource planning) are completed to support successful execution.
- Ensure all assigned projects and programs are completed according to established requirements, with a focus on product and process specifications, cost management, resource utilization, and schedule adherence.
- Maintain compliance with company policies related to engineering documentation, intellectual property, confidentiality, and safety.
- Ensure effective utilization of material and financial resources.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to maximize project and program productivity.
- Lead the research and development of new technologies as appropriate, and ensure that newly developed processes, designs, and methodologies are incorporated into Applied Materials products and services or shared across relevant organizations.
Other Requirements
- Standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting.
- The ability to distinguish between colors.
- The ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise.
- The use of hand and power tools.
- May involve working in a clean room, requiring the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
Minimum Education Requirements
- Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in: Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Business Information Systems, or any other relevant/similar field.

- Salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
- In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
- For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
